We are a fourth generation Stone Contracting Company well known throughout the Washington, D.C. Metro Area and the United States. We have successfully completed thousands of projects over the last 10 years including notable Projects such as the Kennedy Center and Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C., numerous landmark buildings in Manhattan, where the company was originally based, such as the IBM World Headquarters; Philip Johnson’s AT&T Headquarters; as well as Trump Towers and most of the Trump Buildings done in the 70’s and 80’s. These projects were all very large at their time and stand as a testament to our family’s unmatched capabilities and involvement in the stone business.
Although the company was based in Manhattan, there were offices in Las Vegas where numerous Casino Projects were done including MGM Grand, both originally and the renovation after the fire many years ago. We also had offices in California; Florida; Riyadh and Jedda, (Saudi Arabia). In the Middle East, we performed many large Projects during the initial infrastructure build-out of the aforementioned Saudi Cities in the 70’s and 80’s. Although times have changed significantly, the Bratti organization is now consolidated in the Washington DC Metro Area where business and work has been relatively stable over the last few decades and we have been able to avoid the significant economic downturns of the recent past.
We now concentrate our primary market in the local market where we also hand select and pursue large natural stone project around the country. Recently we have completed the stone package on the new US Federal Courthouse in Seattle, WA, which was nearly $5,000,000; a County Courthouse in Charlotte, NC, which was over $15,000,000 in stone and a very large Casino Expansion in Cherokee, North Carolina where we performed both furnish and installation of natural stone and ceramic tile in the guest suites.
We have also completed many very large private projects that are under non-disclosure agreements, particularly on private residence projects around the country.
We believe R. Bratti Associates is uniquely qualified to offer assistance in the design and development of complicated large stone jobs involving Design/Development or Engineering challenges Our corporate mission is to provide safe construction projects while providing the service of a professional experienced stone contracting company to both engage the best value of stone in construction for all types of projects while teaming with our clients and Architects to meet the needs and Architectural design criteria. We excel in particularly complicated and unusual work. Although production is often part of a successful project, the Design and Development of complicated Stone projects and the effort instilled in early pre-construction that document development is critical to the success of a project in the field. Materials and color selections from a Value Engineering point of view is one of our strongest points.
Over the decades we have developed relationships with the stone community and our relationships with large high-end commercial stone fabrication facilities around the world has enabled R. Bratti Associates with our partners, to provide high quality well fabricated materials at the best economic value.
